Our special services handle exactly those, on demand, for commercial properties across metro Atlanta. We diagnose the problem first, treat it correctly with certified applicators, and never apply anything without your approval.

A preventive program keeps most trouble away, but not all of it. When something specific goes wrong, or a seasonal job like fescue renewal comes due, you want a certified team that will identify the real cause and treat it precisely, not blanket the property and hope. That is what special services are.

Fire ant management
Fire ants are more than a nuisance on a commercial property: their mounds mar turf, and their stings are a real liability around multifamily communities, HOA common areas, schools, and any place people walk. We suppress and control fire ant populations so the grounds stay safe and usable, and we time treatments to get ahead of the active season rather than chasing mounds after they appear.

Insect and disease control
When a specific insect or disease flares up beyond what a preventive program covers, a sudden outbreak on the turf, an infestation in the shrubs, a disease moving through a planting, we diagnose the cause and treat it directly. Because a wrong guess wastes a treatment, we identify the problem first, then explain the corrective action and its cost and get your approval before we apply anything.

Kudzu and poison ivy control
Aggressive and hazardous vines do not respect a property line. Kudzu can swallow a fence line, a wood edge, or a slope in a season, and poison ivy is a genuine liability anywhere people or crews work. We control both with targeted treatment, so an invasive problem is knocked back before it becomes an eyesore or a safety issue rather than after it has spread.

Fescue aeration and overseeding
Cool-season fescue lawns thin out over time and need renewing to stay dense and healthy. Aeration relieves compaction and opens the soil, and overseeding fills the stand back in, so a tired fescue lawn goes into the next season thicker and stronger. It is a seasonal service best scheduled ahead, and we will tell you the window that actually works for your turf.

For a problem, the rule is simple: the sooner we look, the smaller the fix. A few fire ant mounds are easier to handle than a property covered in them, and a vine caught early is easier than one that has taken over a slope. For seasonal work like fescue aeration and overseeding, scheduling ahead means the job lands in the window that actually helps the turf. Either way, one call gets an owner or a horticulturist on it.

When should I request a special service?
For a problem, as soon as you notice it: fire ant mounds appearing, a patch of turf or a shrub going wrong, or kudzu or poison ivy taking hold. The earlier we look at it, the smaller and cheaper the fix. For the seasonal ones, like fescue aeration and overseeding, it is best to schedule ahead so the work lands in the right window for the turf.

No, and that is on purpose. The lawn care and tree and shrub programs cover routine feeding, weed control, and preventive pest pressure. Special services are separate, on-demand treatments for specific problems those programs do not include, so your regular program stays predictable and you only pay for a special treatment when you actually need one.
Environmental Services →Will you treat before telling me the cost?
No. We diagnose the problem, explain the corrective action and what it will cost, and wait for your approval before any treatment is made. You are never surprised by a special-service charge on your invoice.
Do I have to be an existing client to request one?
The special services work best as part of a relationship, where we already know your property, but tell us what is going on and we will let you know honestly how we can help. If it is a problem we can solve, we will scope it; if it is not, we will tell you that too.
